Your role: Electronics design engineer
As part of their R&D team, you will play an important role in the design of high-speed, low-noise electronics for our spectrometers and our production and test setups. You will work closely with customers and colleagues across disciplines to bring new products from concept to production.
Your tasks will include:
· Development of hardware for our optical sensors
· Design for reliable and robust manufacture and operation
· Validating and documenting your work
· Troubleshooting production and test issues
· Coordinating and managing development projects
What you bring
You are both technically strong and a great team player. Ideally, you have:
· A degree in engineering or a similar field, and a minimum of 5 years of experience with the design of electronics
· Mastering most disciplines within analogue and digital electronics, with a focus on high-speed digital electronics
· Experienced user of tools for Schematic/PCB layout and simulation
· Experience with optical sensors and cameras is an advantage
· LabVIEW experience is an advantage
· A structured, analytical approach to problem-solving
· A proactive mindset and a good sense of humour
