Co-Founder & SoftwareArchitect (C# / .NET) — Build and Scale a B2B SaaS Platform
We are looking for a technical co-founder, an experienced software engineer/architect, to take ownership of the technical direction of a B2B SaaS platform approaching — an experienced software engineer / architect — totake ownership of the technical direction of a B2B SaaS platform that isapproaching its v1.0 release.
The company is intentionally anonymous at this stage. The product is real, the codebase is mature, and the company is already formed, with an active Founder and Co-Founders, supported by a serious Founder and Co-Founders,supported by a seriousadvisory board.
This is not an employment role. It is an opportunity to join the founding team, take long-term technical ownership, and help shape both the product and the company.
You will act as Co-Founder with architectural responsibility, working hands-on across the stack and influencing all core technical decisions, including:
· Finalising and hardening the v1.0 codebase
· Defining and evolving system architecture
· Ensuring code quality, maintainability, andtestability
· Designing for scalability, performance, and security
· Supporting product decisions with technical trade-offs
· Collaborating with non-technical founders and advisors on feasibility and execution
The platform is primarily built in C#/ .NET and features, with a modern SaaS architecture. We use Cursor as part of our development workflow and value tooling that improves developer productivity.
You are likely someone who:
· Has significant experience as a software engineer or architect
· Is deeply comfortable with C# / .NET in production environments
· Has designed, built, or maintained SaaS systems (monoliths, modular systems, or distributed architectures)
· Understands trade-offs around:
o architecture vs. delivery speed
o correctness vs. pragmatism
o technical debt vs. iteration
· Writes clean, readable, production-grade code
· Is comfortable being accountable for technicaldecisions
Thisrole requires someone who:
· Has an entrepreneurial mindset and wants real ownership
· Is comfortable working without rigid structures or corporate buffers
· Can operate independently and drive work forward
· Enjoys solving real problems rather than polishing abstractions
· Is motivated by building a product that will be used at scale
· You may keepyour current full-time role, if relevant
· Expected involvement:
o 15–20 hours per week of focused development work
o 1–2 online meetings per week(planning, alignment)
· Flexible, trust-based collaboration, outcomes mattermore than schedules
· A committed founding team with complementary skillsets
· An advisory board with deep business, legal, and domain expertise
· A product with defined requirements, real use cases, and market direction
· A company where engineering quality and governance are taken seriously from day one
· Co-Founder role with meaningful technical authority
· Equity participation(structured and agreed individually)
· The opportunity to shape the system before scale introduces constraints
· A realistic path from v1.0 to production usage and growth
If this sounds aligned with how you like to work and build, we’d be happy to have a discreet, exploratory conversation and share more details under NDA.
All discussions are confidential.
