The Role – AI-Native Full-Stack Developer Focused on Business Impact
Foss are looking for a Full-Stack Developer who thrives in an AI-augmented environment and builds solutions that make a real difference. You’ll use modern tools like Cursor, ChatGPT, and others to deliver business-critical features with speed, precision, and quality.
This isn’t just about coding — it’s about understanding the problem, the user, and the business, and using the right tools to create robust, impactful software.
You'll be part of the team building FOSS IQX, our digital platform for the global food and agriculture industry. Foss are actively evolving our development practices to be AI-native, and you’ll help shape how they work, not just what they build.
What you'll be doing:
· Own and deliver full-stack features, from design to implementation, using AI tools to boost quality and speed.
· Collaborate closely with product owners, users, and domain experts to understand real-world needs and deliver effective solutions.
· Build and maintain robust backend services in C#, using RESTful APIs andSQL Server.
· Develop responsive and maintainable frontend components in Angular.
· Ensure high-quality code through tests, reviews, and automation (unit, integration, and performance testing).
· Improve and contribute to development workflows.
· Work in a collaborative Scrum team, contributing to a shared mission and mentoring peers on AI-assisted development.
· Take part in driving an AI-native culture, helping the team transition toward more productive, AI-powered workflows.
What you bring:
· 3+ years of experience in software development, with strong skills in Angular,.NET/C#, and REST APIs.
· Real-world experience using tools like ChatGPT, Cursor, or GitHubCopilot to enhance development.
· A business-aware mindset: you’re motivated by solving real problems and creating value for users.
· Experience building frontends with Angular and a strong grasp of UI/UX best practices.
· A structured approach to quality assurance, with test automation and performance validation built into your work.
· Solid understanding of software architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows.
· Strong communication and teamwork skills — you're proactive and generous with your knowledge.
Bonus points if you:
· Have led or contributed to AI adoption in a development team.
· Are comfortable designing and documenting RESTful APIs.
· Enjoy improving developer experience and team workflows.
· Bring experience working in regulated or high-quality environments(e.g., ISO, GxP, or similar).
