Freelance Verification Engineer

InCopenhagen, they design and develop high quality conferencing systems and software solutions. They are a company of passionate and dedicated people and ,as they are expanding their product range, they are looking for a talented Verification Engineer to join their team in Copenhagen.
Your new Work Life
In this role, you will become part of a competent team that enables testing and validation of their conferencing systems, collaborating closely with colleagues in other departments to fulfill and exceed our customers' expectations.
Their purpose is to provide insights into our embedded and applicationsoftware systems as well as to assess whether they live up to expectations.This includes developing and executing functional and non-functional manualtests. Our client have a strong focus on using meticulous testing techniquesand strategies to continuously improve their test capabilities and capacity.
Your typical workday may include:
· Designing, developing, and executing testcases to verify the functionality, performance, and security for our products and systems from a user’s perspective.
· Executing tests of complex software systems to ensure compliance with system requirements and interoperability.
· Applying yourhands-on experience with video conferencing systems at the conference roomlevel to test and validate our products.
· Analyzing, problem-solving, and clearly communicating findings.
· Following up on quality metrics and defining new metrics to measure.
· Managing proper artifact recording for future reference.
· Contributing to the continuous improvement and increased efficiency of our testing processes and tools.
· Working cross-borderand cross-functionally to support fellow colleagues.
Who We Think You Are
· You are passionate about software testing and verification techniques.
· You have significant hands-on experience with one or more video conferencing systems – MS Teams,Zoom, and Google Meet, and possess experience in modules such as microphones and speakers.
· You demonstrate good judgment when selecting methods and techniques to solve diverse assignments.
· You have proficiency in using test management tools and writing detailed test cases.
· You are familiar withversion control systems such as GIT and SVN.
· You are accustomed to the Atlassian toolset like JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
· It is an advantage if you have knowledge of testing tools for embedded and application layer testingas well as test record management systems like Xray or Quality Center.
· You are well-acquainted with SAFe, Software Test Life Cycle, and Continuous Delivery.
· Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
